Inception!

I've said it so many times before, and now I'll say it again. Christopher Nolan is one hell of a genius. And with each new film, he just keeps getting better and better. Seriously, one has to be smoking some truly exceptional sh*t to be able to imagine the world that he has created this time around. Some may nitpick and say Inception isn't entirely original, and I have to agree that some of the ideas seen here are rather derivative from past movies. But taken in its entirety, I would still say that this is a movie that's unlike any other. Those action set pieces elicit enough excitement that even the most jaded moviegoer would probably be amused, if not totally impressed. The story is multi layered and mind bending, and like most of the other Nolan films this movie entails repeat viewings for us to completely understand all of its nuances. Naysayers can nitpick all they want, but I would still say that Inception is the best movie I have seen so far this year.
